Questions parents ask
Which subjects are available in each program?+
Group programs (Gold & Silver): Biology 1/2, Biology 3/4, Chemistry 1/2, Chemistry 3/4 and Psychology 3/4. 1-on-1 tutoring: Physics, Maths Methods & Specialist, Pre-VCE (Years 9-10) and every group subject.
Can we try a class before enrolling?+
Yes. Request a free trial on our website and someone from the Novicate team will contact you within 1-2 days to book your child into a live trial class. It is free, no card is needed and there is no obligation to enrol.
Can we combine 1-on-1 Coaching with Silver?+
Yes. 1-on-1 Coaching does not include portal resources, but you can add the Silver program at 40% off when you combine it with 1-on-1.
Are there any discounts?+
Yes: full-year programs cost less per week than term by term, families enrolling in 2 subjects get 10% off the second and 3 subjects get 15% off the second and third, and Silver is 40% off when combined with 1-on-1.
What if my child misses a live class?+
Missing the occasional class is fine. Every class is recorded and uploaded to the portal, and questions can be asked anytime on Discord. If the live class times will not suit your schedule, Silver is the better fit.
How long do we have access to the training portal?+
Full-year students have access until the end of their VCE exam (or the end of the school year for Units 1/2). Term-by-term students have access until the end of each paid term.
What's your refund policy?+
Gold programs: fully refundable until week 2 of the program. After week 2, Gold program fees are not refundable. Silver programs and 1-on-1 tutoring: not refundable.
