VCE is already a tough two years. For students with big goals, it's hard to find support that pushes them to a Raw 40+ standard.

Most tutoring lacks structure and reteaches school theory at an average level. Even more importantly, it overlooks the other half of scoring well: knowing how to apply theory to the way VCE questions are written and marked.

Novicate was founded to bring the two together: high-level theory, taught alongside our signature Novicate Answering Strategy.

A message from our founder

Dr Phillipe Adamtchek

“I built Novicate as the support I wish I'd had in high school.”

Phillipe was never the "naturally smart" student. In Year 9 he was barely scraping C's, and a career in medicine felt out of reach.

What changed was who he learned from. He surrounded himself with high achievers, adopted the strategies they had been taught, and spent years refining his own way of answering exam questions. That method became our signature Novicate Answering Strategy.

A few years later he scored a Raw 50 in VCE Biology, graduated as dux of Monash Biomedical Science, and achieved his lifelong dream of studying Medicine.

That is why Novicate means so much to him. With hard work, structure and the right mentorship, any student's VCE journey can be transformed, just as his was.
